Honda F1 saved by Mexican Billionaire




Chance that David Richards will save Honda F1 team with his business partners from Kuwait is gone now. But the salvation comes from the second richest man in the world, Carlos Slim from Mexico, reported by Italian newspaper La Stampa.

However, this news is not official but there are two things that make the team still participating in the F1 event in 2009. First, Jenson Button and Bruno Senna are joining for Honda formation

The second, Honda that announced resignation this week is believed to have funds around USD 400 million. La Stampa also write if Senna is sponsored by Embratel, the Slim's company Telmex Group.

Speaking matter of achievement, Honda was not very shining. They only once won the race in 2006 in Hungary by Jenson Button. Meanwhile, Rubens Barrichello balance the achievement finish best third in the Silverstone circuit. For constructor, this year Honda was ranked 9th with 14 numbers.
