The largest exhibition's motorcycle in Indonesia, the Jakarta Motorcycle Show (JMS) started at the Jakarta Convention Center at the December 6th, 2008. This two year even with the theme "Safety, Ride, Ride to privacy".
Honda stands in the exhibition was guarded by Asimo, a humanoid robot, the honda mascot in every even in the world.
In this exhibition, Honda participated with displays 2 motorcycle concept that is Honda EV06 and Honda DN-01.
Honda EV06
This Honda EV06 concept is arguably the most exciting new Honda street bike since the legendary CB750 debuted back in 1969. It's a boxer 6, probably Gold Wing derived, with a set of the sexiest exhaust pipes ever to grace a Honda; it also has a mono-shock rear suspension. If Honda decides to put this "Gold Wingster" into production, it will be a homerun for sure.
Honda DN-01
The DN-01 is one of the more curious 2008 designs offered by Honda at the Milan Show last year, and to be honest, was rather eclipsed by the likes of the Fireblade,
CB1000R and even the Transalp. The strange-looking new machine mixes up elements of scooter and bike design, with a fully-automatic (with manual override) transmission, proper suspension, a low, laid-back riding position and a 680cc V-twin motor. It was first seen in concept bike form at the Tokyo show, and we're kinda surprised to see it enter production in such a similar form to the concept.
